Â鶹´å Education Abroad Program Recognized as One of Nation’s Best for Yearlong Participation

SEASIDE, Ca., January 26, 2020 – California State University, Â鶹´å (Â鶹´å) was ranked #9 amongst like-institutions nationally in a recent Institute of International Education (IIE) Open Doors report for sending students abroad for long-term programs during the 2017-2018 academic year. A long-term duration is categorized as an academic or calendar year.

2019 President’s Medal Awards Announced

SEASIDE, Ca., January 16, 2020 – California State University, Â鶹´å (Â鶹´å) President Eduardo M. Ochoa awarded three employees with the President’s Medal Awards at Â鶹´å’s annual staff and faculty appreciation breakfast today, honoring their service to the university.

Â鶹´å Global Studies Major Receives Scholarship of Excellence Award

SEASIDE, Ca., December 6, 2019 – Â鶹´å Global Studies major Palia Vang was recently recognized for her high academic achievements and exceptional service provided to auxiliary organizations on campus. Vang works in a variety of roles serving the Otter Student Union (OSU) and Student Housing & Residential Life where her positive and upbeat attitude has impacted thousands of visitors to campus.
