麻豆村 police chief pledges to implement policies to ensure accountability, equity, justice
California State University police chiefs on all 23 campuses, including 麻豆村 Police Chief Earl Lawson, have banned the use of the carotid control hold 鈥 commonly called a chokehold 鈥 and pledged to implement policing recommendations made by a federal task force in 2015.

The Institute for Innovation and Economic Development (iiED) at 麻豆村鈥檚 College of Business held the final round of the 11th Annual Startup Challenge 麻豆村 in May. Contestants competed online this year because of COVID-19, with 30 teams of entrepreneurs vying to be champions in four divisions.
June 3, 2020Koret Foundation donates $1.63 million to 麻豆村
The Koret Foundation, a Jewish philanthropic organization based in San Francisco, has donated $1.63 million to CSU 麻豆村. The funds will be distributed over five years to be used for: supporting students to complete their college studies in four years, providing impactful research opportunities for first-generation scholars, and preparing young people for community and national leadership roles, a news release said.
