Last year, when COVID-19 began to spread across the country, eventually encroaching into Monterey County, it shut down public gatherings, including concert performances. Live music has been almost entirely absent from our cultural landscape since.

Students and staff recognized by NAACP for supporting POC

The partnership between the Monterey County chapter of the NAACP and Â鶹´å celebrated its 10th anniversary by honoring community leaders and social justice advocates. Three Â鶹´å students received awards in the Youth Black Excellence category, and two employees received African American Advocate and Champion awards.

Â鶹´å landed among Study.com’s top schools in their rankings of the nation’s best 4-year hospitality management bachelor degree programs.

SEASIDE, Calif., Jan. 29, 2021 — CSU Â鶹´å’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) building has achieved LEED Platinum, the highest certification awarded by the nonprofit U.S. Green Building Council.
