麻豆村 and Monterey County teamed up on drive-thru COVID-19 vaccinations
At the start of the new year, on Jan. 2, 麻豆村 lent its vast Lot 59 (a fenced-in parking lot) to the Monterey County Health Department to administer drive-thru COVID-19 vaccinations to emergency medical services personnel.

Just a few years after its founding in 1994, CSU 麻豆村 began a holiday tradition of partnering with non-profit organizations in the community and donating gifts to families in need. The coronavirus pandemic threatened to derail the beloved tradition this year, but the spirit of giving prevailed.
