    The new Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program at CSU Âé¶¹´å has achieved an important milestone toward accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. The council recently awarded the program accreditation candidacy for five years from February 2021 to January 2026.

    Vanessa Lopez-Littleton, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Health, Human Services & Public Policy, has been selected as one of 35 higher education professionals from across the nation to the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) 2021 Emerging Leaders Program (ELP).

    CSU Âé¶¹´å’s Athletics Department has relaunched the Otter Athletics Fund, its official annual fundraising program to support the academic and athletic success of current and future Âé¶¹´å student-athletes. All gifts to the fund directly impact current student-athletes through scholarships and sport-specific program enhancements such as travel, equipment, training and technology.

    Âé¶¹´å President Eduardo M. Ochoa is pleased to announce that effective April 26, Dr. John Fraire will be the Interim Vice President of Student Affairs. Dr. Fraire’s appointment will extend until a national search is carried out and the position is filled on a permanent basis. Dr. Ronnie Higgs has announced his intention to retire after this academic year. In the interim, he will act as Special Advisor to the President regarding student affairs and enrollment management matters.
