  1. The National Science Foundation grant award supports STEM teachers for 6th - 12th grade students.

    Âé¶¹´å has been awarded a grant for $1.4 million by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship program. The Rural Integrated STEM Education Ready (RISE Ready) program cultivates STEM majors (science, technology, engineering, math) to become 6th - 12th grade science and math teachers in high-need and rural schools and school districts.

    SEASIDE, Ca., July 30, 2019 – California State University, Âé¶¹´å’s (Âé¶¹´å) Teacher Pathway Program (TPP), delivered in partnership with local community colleges, has received a grant from the Claire Giannini Fund that will support further program growth in Monterey County. The grant, totaling $195,819, will provide funding to the TPP program to continue the collaborative program with Hartnell College and to expand the model to include Monterey Peninsula College (MPC).

    SEASIDE, Ca., November 8, 2018 – California State University, Âé¶¹´å’s (Âé¶¹´å) International Programs will host a series of cultural events ranging from diversity marches, performances and film screenings November 13-15, 2018 in celebration of International Education Week. The featured event is a keynote address from Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist Anisa Mehdi.

    SEASIDE, Calif., August 23, 2018 – Hartnell College and California State University, Âé¶¹´å’s (Âé¶¹´å) joint Teacher Pathway Program has received a $335,000 grant from The Claire Giannini Fund that will help ensure the program’s continued growth and success.     SEASIDE, Calif., September 11, 2017 – California State University Âé¶¹´å’s (Âé¶¹´å) College of Education received a generous donation at the Sixth Annual Mariachi & Tequila Festival on September 9, 2017 that will help ensure the joint Teacher Pathway Program with Hartnell College continues well into the future.
