Average Rent in the Âé¶¹´å Area
All CSU campuses are required to identify the average monthly rental cost of an apartment in the local area.
According to a 2025 housing market survey, the average monthly rate for a two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment within a 10-mile radius of campus was $2,122.
This includes the Monterey, Marina and Seaside areas. Outside of the immediate area, rates will vary from town to town depending on location, square footage and amenities.
