The objective of the CCME-II is to educate and train a new generation of scientists, particularly from underrepresented minority communities, in NOAA-relevant STEM disciplines and social sciences, equipped to utilize interdisciplinary approaches to address issues confronting marine and coastal communities.

NSF Ocean Science Research Experience for Undergraduates

Âé¶¹´å offers a 10-week REU in the beautiful Âé¶¹´å Region. Students collaborate with Âé¶¹´å faculty or mentors at host institutions to develop hypothesis-driven projects and receive critical feedback. Students complete a suite of professional development workshops and training, culminating with our celebratory Summer Research Symposium.
