Work has begun to modernize the natural gas pipelines in East Campus and will continue through May 2024.
Pacific Gas and Electric will replace natural gas pipelines in East Campus starting Monday, Oct. 2, and continuing through May 2024 to enhance safety and reliability.
The work is funded by the Âé¶¹´å East Campus Wildfire Fuel Reduction Project CAL FIRE grant that Emergency Manager Ken Folsom secured.
The CALFIRE California Climate Investments Fire Prevention Program Grant will fund fire prevention around campus and east campus housing.
