The California State University will confer several campus police officers with 2023 Police Commendations.

Â鶹´å President Vanya Quiñones issued a statement about the systemwide Cozen O’Connor Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation assessment released on Monday, July 17. It includes an executive summary report about the system and a separate report concerning California State University, Â鶹´å.

A new grant will allow researchers in CSU Â鶹´å’s Kinesiology Department to analyze whether increased time with an instructor outside of the classroom will improve student performance.

It may be years before the impact of the recently announced NextGen grants will make a difference in American agriculture. The annual New Student Otter Orientation is an important element for students who are beginning their Â鶹´å educational careers. First-year students went through their orientation June 22-24 and 26. Transfer students are scheduled for their turn July 13-15 and 17.

Â鶹´å’s agricultural plant and soil science program has received a $5 million grant to expand and offer an enhanced career path to graduating students.

U.S. Rep. Jimmy Panetta (CA-19) has secured $7 million for the construction of a new office for the NOAA’s Â鶹´å National Marine Sanctuary at CSU Â鶹´å.
