The Koret Foundation, a Jewish philanthropic organization based in San Francisco, has donated $1.63 million to CSU Âé¶¹´å. The funds will be distributed over five years to be used for: supporting students to complete their college studies in four years, providing impactful research opportunities for first-generation scholars, and preparing young people for community and national leadership roles, a news release said.

The largest gift in the history of the 25-year-old university, Darwin’s generosity will provide necessary scholarships for talented and gifted students from low-income and impoverished families with the greatest financial need.
